Shading Techniques used by Italian Masters |

Students will learn to use charcoal and/or pen and ink to achieve the various shading effects produced by the master artists of the Italian Renaissance. The works of Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, and Sebastiano del Piombo will be used as sources. Maximum students: 12; Age Minimum: 10; Course Fee: $3.00 for class handout. Buy a kit for $7.00 or come with (Charcoal paper, pen, sandpaper block, kneaded eraser, chamois, tortillons, vine charcoal-extra soft, soft, medium, hard). If wearing good garb, bring an apron or something to cover your clothes. |
